Welcome to Amigos de Jackson

Hi, my name is Carolina and I want to share a little about my passion for dogs. I always loved dogs but my passion and desire for helping and rescue dogs begun a couple of years ago when my Dad got very sick and his will was to die in

Mexico, his Country of birth. Because of his illness, I got the opportunity to travel frequently to Mexico to spend time with him before he passed.  It was during that period of time that I was exposed to the great need of helping and rescuing dogs. The number of stray dogs in the city of Nava is staggering!

Owning three dogs myself, who were rescued from Mexico, Jackson, Maximus, and Capricho and see how happy their lives are now, it reminded me about the hardship and suffering the dogs in Mexico are going through on a daily basis. After prayer and careful consideration I decided to open Amigos de Jackson refuge in Nava.  I am very aware of the hard work and emotional challenges that come with helping abandoned dogs. I also know that I can not do this on my own. But with your help and contribution we can definitely make a difference to restore and give the opportunity of a better life to those beautiful dogs in the city of Nava, Coahuila Mexico.
